System requirements

The requirements of oe2edit for webserver and client are minimal. The CGI-based system is fully compatible to the current W3C standard.


oe2edit is compatible to:



The webserver must meet the following requirements:

-Unix webspace with Perl, often also named “free CGIs” or CGI.
- 4,5 MB free webspace for installation of oe2edit
- Perl module “Image::Magic” is necessary for automatic reduction of the gallery preview images. It is free of charge.

If your webserver doesn't meet this requirements, you have the chance to book webspace on our server. Your domain and your e-mail account won't be affected.

The client has to meet the following requirements for updating content:

oe2edit is fully compatible to Mac OS X and Windows Vista!

- Windows with IE 6.0 / Firefox 1.2 or higher

- JavaScript must be activated

OR

- Mac OS X with Safari 3.0 / Firefox 2.0 or higher

- JavaScript must be activated
